BlogHer truly does it right; I was a VOTY judge in 2012 and I know the painstaking process, the grid, the matrix of what qualifies, points assigned across so many categories. It’s really a complex web of beautiful variants. There is the People’s Choice VOTY by vote, and there is the Judge’s panel. IT’s really a way to recognize all voices on message conveyed, voice heard, service to community via words, opinions expressed, support of causes… so many categories. It’s a way for the smallest blogger to get their work in front of an audience. GOOD LUCK.

Read the one about the boy with Autism again and still LOVE it. LOVE IT. Also, have you read this? http://momnos.blogspot.com/2010/03/on-being-hair-dryer-kid-in-toaster.html (It’s possible that you’re the one who told me this, if so, my apology…) I came across this post/blog one day and my kids and I stayed past bedtime to read the posts.
